Our current development effort is focused on improving performance by making more use of NoSQL options. We have been experimenting with Microsoft Azure Table Storage, Amazon DynamoDB and Cassandra.
Our main hosting target is Microsoft Azure and the Azure team has been very responsive and helpful when we initially experienced performance problems with Azure. It has also been encouraging to see Microsoft’s recent improvements to Azure.
While we are architecting Youneeq to be independent of the NoSQL technology, our initial focus will be on Azure Table Storage with some testing against DynamoDB to help validate that we are achieving acceptable performance levels.
