Youneeq provides web-based services to other businesses (Clients) to improve the overall relevance of their web applications. These services are recommendations, advertisements, analytics and personalization. Youneeq and its Clients are commonly referred to below as we or us.
The US Federal Government, Federal Canadian Government and participants in the technology industry have developed some practical guidelines to help you guard against Internet fraud, secure your computer, and protect your personal information. Youneeq supports your use and implementation of these guidelines.

Information we collect and how we use it:
When you access our services via a browser, application or other client, Youneeq servers automatically record certain information. These server logs may include information such as your web request, your interaction with a service, browser type, browser language, the date and time of your request, and one or more cookies that may uniquely identify your browser or your account.
Affiliated Youneeq services on Client sites
We may offer location-enabled services, we may receive information about your actual location (such as GPS signals sent by a mobile device) or information that can be used to approximate a location (such as a cell ID or IP address).
In addition to the above, we may use the information we collect using Youneeq technology to provide, maintain, protect, improve our services (including advertising services), develop new services; and protect the rights or property of Youneeq or its Clients.
Youneeq processes information on servers in the United States of America, Canada and in other countries. In some cases, information collected by Youneeq is also processed outside your own country.
Your choice to opt out
Most browsers are initially set up to accept cookies, but you can reset your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, some Youneeq features and services may not function properly if your cookies are disabled.
Youneeq always make its best efforts in providing security measures to protect against unauthorized access to or unauthorized alteration, disclosure, or destruction of data. These include internal reviews of data collection, storage, and processing practices and security measures, including appropriate encryption and physical security measures to guard against unauthorized access to systems where Youneeq stores data.
Youneeq is headquartered in Victoria BC Canada, and also operates in many other legal jurisdictions. While Youneeq will always do its best to adhere to the principles and policies in the country you live in, sometimes this is not possible. Youneeq is required to conform to the US Safe Harbor Privacy Principles of Notice, Choice, Onward Transfer, Security, Data Integrity, Access and Enforcement, and Safe Harbor Policies.
Youneeq regularly reviews its compliance in view of this Directive. If formal written complaints is received, it is Youneeq’s policy to in a timely fashion contact the complaining user regarding his or her concerns. Youneeq will cooperate with the appropriate regulatory authorities, including local data protection authorities, to resolve any complaints regarding the transfer of data that cannot be resolved between Youneeq and an individual. Youneeq compliance and ongoing certifications with regards to Safe Harbor Privacy Principles will be posted on the Youneeq website.
